Hmm, I’m sure that vmware tools does exist for Solaris.
Hi Ceri, ah – you’re quite right – I copied the top para from the linked page into del.icio.us, which dutifully posted it to my blog – it is out of date – I’ll go correct it.
You can indeed install VMware tools on Solaris (in fact, I blogged about it previously, here – http://blogs.sun.com/superpat/entry/yay_vmware_workstation_5_5 ) – but these unofficial tools do still give you some additional capability.
