Welcome Flog and Voff

It was Tom's fourth birthday soon after Christmas. One of his friends gave him a Planet Frog habitat - pictured. We sent off for the live tadpoles (Leopard Frog tadpoles, apparently), put them in the habitat with spring water and we're now feeding them regularly, waiting excitedly for any sign of legs. I'll keep you posted...

  1. Nice to see Flog & Voff – I hear we’re looking after them in April – I hope you have a good supply of live Crickets – Lilly can’t wait !!

  2. I don’t know how quickly Leopard frogs grow, but our common garden frogs can often take 3 months to swap tails for legs…

That said. we’re not quite sure what’s happened to them this year… still no sign of frenzied mating in the pond, depsite several rainy days recently.
